Primary Teaching Assistant

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to facilitate the delivery of inspiring lessons
• Offer dedicated 1:1 or small-group interventions for pupils requiring extra academic help
• Support effective classroom management to ensure a constructive and calm learning atmosphere
• Provide tailored assistance to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) as required
• Assist in the preparation and organisation of educational resources and equipment
• Participate in school-wide events, functions, and parent-teacher consultations

• Prior experience working with children, ideally within a primary education setting
• A patient, nurturing, and encouraging temperament when supporting young learners
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
• A high degree of flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive mindset
• Relevant childcare or education certifications are preferred but not mandatory
• An unwavering commitment to safeguarding and child welfare (an enhanced DBS check is essential)
