Job Responsibility:
Deliver focused booster sessions for Key Stage 2 pupils, aiming to secure high expected standards in SATs preparation
Prepare high-quality, differentiated learning materials and ensure all classroom areas are meticulously organised and resource-rich
Assist the Class Teacher in collecting formative assessment data and recording pupil observations accurately
Provide sensitive emotional support, acting as a reliable first point of contact for pupil well-being concerns
Lead independent work activities for small groups, encouraging collaboration and self-reliance
Undertake routine administrative tasks such as photocopying, display preparation, and managing book corners
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is essential
Proven, recent experience supporting children across Key Stage 1 and 2 in a UK primary setting
Excellent standards of written and verbal English and strong numeracy skills suitable for intervention delivery
Professionalism, excellent organisational skills, and a discreet, empathetic manner
Must possess a current Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service
