Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Classroom Support Assistants to work within EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings. This role is ideal for those passionate about primary education, literacy, and community building. You will support the Class Teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and ensuring no child is left behind.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead small group interventions in English and Maths
  • Assist the teacher in preparing resources, creating displays, and managing classroom behavior
  • Assist with the social and emotional development of students
  • Work closely with the Class Teacher to track pupil progress and ensure a safe, inclusive, and high-energy learning environment

Requirements

  • Proactive and energetic
  • Relevant experience from a school, youth club, coaching, or any setting where you have mentored or led young people
  • Academically confident with a strong grasp of the primary curriculum
  • Committed and hold an enhanced DBS (or are willing to apply)
  • Dedicated to Safeguarding and child welfare
