Job Description:

Affinity Workforce Solutions are working in partnership with primary schools across Castleford, who are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to start ASAP. As part of the Castleford Academy Trust, these schools want to give their students the best chance of success and inspire every child to flourish through an inclusive, all-through education. The suitable individual for this role will be inspirational and encouraging to the students that they will be working with. This is a fantastic opportunity for teaching assistants who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy working across a variety of year groups, from Reception to Year 6.

Job Responsibility:

  • Empowering pupils through engaging learning activities
  • Assisting teachers in delivering impactful lessons
  • Supporting individual needs to boost confidence and progress
  • Maintaining a positive, well-organised classroom space
  • Work on a 1:1 basis as well as support across the classroom
  • May be required to work with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) students

Requirements:

  • Experience with children (formal or informal)
  • Enhanced DBS
  • UK Right to Work
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable mindset and a love for education

Nice to have:

Previous relevant experience working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) students
