Primary Teaching Assistant - Day-to-Day Supply Location: East Grinstead & Surrounding Areas Pay: £90 - £95 per day (Weekly Pay) Contract: Day-to-Day Supply (Flexible) Are you looking for a rewarding role in local Primary schools? Do you want the freedom to choose when and where you work? We are seeking friendly, energetic Primary Teaching Assistants to join our East Grinstead supply team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across various local Primary schools, supporting children from EYFS through to Year 6 in the heart of West Sussex.

Job Responsibility:

  • assisting the teacher with lesson setup and helping pupils stay on task
  • supporting small groups with reading, writing, and phonics (KS1) or numeracy and literacy (KS2)
  • helping younger children learn through play and develop their social skills
  • providing a supportive environment and helping with lunchtime or playground supervision

Requirements:

  • experience of working with children
  • good standard of English and Maths
  • enhanced DBS on the update service
