Job Responsibility:
Designing and implementing a creative, high-impact curriculum that aligns with national standards and stimulates pupil curiosity
Conducting rigorous formative and summative assessments to monitor pupil attainment and inform future lesson planning
Leading a specific curriculum subject area across the school, providing guidance and resources for colleagues
Managing and mentoring assigned classroom support staff to ensure the effective delivery of 1:1 and small-group support
Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with parents and carers to support the "whole child" approach
Contributing to the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular clubs and community-led events
Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team to implement school-wide improvement strategies and pedagogical research
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position
Successful experience teaching within a UK primary school, with a proven track record of positive pupil outcomes
Deep understanding of the current National Curriculum and statutory assessment frameworks (KS1/KS2)
Exceptional classroom management skills with an emphasis on positive reinforcement and engagement
A commitment to professional growth and a willingness to engage with trust-wide collaborative initiatives
Full compliance with safeguarding regulations and the "Keeping Children Safe in Education" guidance
