Job Description:

We are looking to recruit a highly inspirational and passionate primary teacher to cover a period of maternity leave for our current KS2 post-holder from September 2026. The role is temporary for 9-12 months. This role will involve teaching a small mixed age KS2 class of pupils with a variety of special educational needs and barriers to learning.

Job Responsibility:

Teaching a small mixed age KS2 class of pupils with a variety of special educational needs and barriers to learning
Cover a period of maternity leave for current KS2 post-holder

Requirements:

Highly inspirational and passionate primary teacher
Track record of high-quality teaching
Ability to adapt and support pupils to overcome barriers
Understanding of nurture and trauma-informed approaches to support social, emotional and mental health needs
Ability to incorporate nurture and trauma-informed approaches into daily school life
Exemplify core values: child centred, authentic in all relationships, adaptive and sensitive to need
