Inspired Education Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Primary Teacher to join the St. Louis School Colonna Campus. The successful candidate will motivate students to think critically, act responsibly, and develop a lifelong love of learning. You will play a key role in preparing students for their transition to secondary education through high-quality teaching and a supportive learning environment.
Job Responsibility
Model and promote the St. Louis School Mission, Values and Positive Behaviour Policy to foster a respectful, inclusive learning culture
Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum and the ethos of the Inspired Education Group
Use formative and summative assessments effectively to monitor progress, inform planning and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
Work closely with colleagues across year groups to ensure continuity, progression and consistency in teaching and learning
Participate in professional learning, contribute to curriculum development and support whole-school improvement initiatives
Lead or assist with clubs, events, or school projects that enrich the wider learning experience
Requirements
A university degree in Education or a related subject, with a recognised teaching qualification
Proven experience teaching Primary Years
Strong understanding of literacy, numeracy, and cross-curricular learning at Key Stage 2
Ability to use assessment data effectively to drive progress
Enthusiastic, reflective and passionate about inspiring independent, confident learners
Collaborative, innovative and eager to contribute to a thriving international school community
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
An EU passport or a valid visa to work in Italy would be advantageous
Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum is preferred
