Job Description:

Primary Teacher Vacancy - Hangzhou, China (August 2026 Start). Are you a dedicated and ambitious Primary Teacher looking for an exceptional international opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious and growing international schools group for their campus in the beautiful city of Hangzhou, China. This is a unique chance to join a successful institution that blends the rigour of a highly respected UK educational model with the depth of the Chinese National Curriculum. The school caters primarily to local Chinese nationals, offering an exciting, bilingual environment (Mandarin and English) designed to develop globally minded, high-achieving students.

Job Responsibility:

Contribute positively to boarding life, including one evening duty per week and one weekend duty per month

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification Primary Teaching experience
  • Experience working with English as an Additional Language (EAL) students
  • Previous international teaching experience
  • Experience in a boarding school environment
  • Willing to contribute positively to boarding life, including one evening duty per week and one weekend duty per month
  • An ambitious self-starter, excited by the opportunity for rapid professional development within a fast-growing, founding school environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with English as an Additional Language (EAL) students
  • Previous international teaching experience
  • Experience in a boarding school environment
