Job Responsibility:
Deliver a personalised curriculum that meets the diverse learning needs of pupils aged 4-12, with a strong focus on Key Stage 2 experience
Develop and implement engaging lessons that support educational progress and enhance social communication skills
Work collaboratively with a dedicated staff team and extensive Teaching Assistant (TA) support in classes to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Build strong, meaningful relationships with pupils, fostering their confidence and encouraging friendships
Communicate effectively and regularly with parents and carers, providing updates on progress and offering advice and support
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable
Strong understanding of and experience with Autism (ASD), MLD, SLD, and SLCN
Proven Key Stage 2 experience
A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to teaching
