Job Responsibility:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various primary year groups (EYFS, KS1, and KS2)
Adapt teaching methods instantly to meet the diverse and immediate needs of students in various classrooms
Maintain a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to school staff
Collaborate with school staff (TAs, SLT) to ensure smooth daily operations and handover
Uphold school policies and procedures consistently across every placement
Inspire a genuine love for learning in young students
Cover for absent teachers, providing essential educational support without the burden of planning
Requirements:
A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Bachelor of Education) or equivalent
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it
A minimum of 1 year of experience teaching at the primary level
A strong understanding of the Primary School Curriculum across different key stages
Excellent classroom management skills and professional knowledge
Adaptability, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for child development and education
An enhanced DBS (on the update service is highly ideal)
The right to work in the UK and uphold child safeguarding standards
Nice to have:
Experience with various assessment tools and methods is advantageous
