Job Description

Inspired Education Group is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lower Primary Teacher to join the vibrant learning community at St. Louis School, Colonna Campus. The successful candidate will inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners while nurturing both academic and personal development. Working within a collaborative and international environment, you will help each child grow as an independent, motivated, and caring learner.

Job Responsibility

  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that reflects the St. Louis School Mission, Values and Positive Behaviour Policy
  • Design and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum, tailored to the needs of young learners
  • Support the social, emotional and academic growth of each student through differentiated instruction and positive reinforcement
  • Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants and specialist staff to ensure cohesive, high-quality teaching and learning experiences
  • Actively engage in professional learning and contribute to school-wide improvement initiatives
  • Participate in assemblies, trips and extra-curricular activities that enhance the student experience and strengthen community connections

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • An EU passport or a valid visa to work in Italy would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum is preferred
  • A university degree in Education or a relevant subject area, with a recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching Lower Primary (Years 1–3)
  • A nurturing, patient and creative approach to learning
  • Strong understanding of early literacy and numeracy development
  • Commitment to inclusive, personalised learning for all students
  • Collaborative, adaptable and eager to contribute to an international school environment

Nice to have

  • An EU passport or a valid visa to work in Italy would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum is preferred
