Job Description

Primary School Teacher - No Planning or Prep. Location: West Dorset (Bridport, Dorchester, Lyme Regis, Sherborne, and surrounding areas). Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time, Consistent Daily Supply & Block Bookings. Salary: £130 - £210 per day (Depending on experience) - Weekly PAYE Pay. Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only).

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver pre-planned, creative lessons across the primary national curriculum (EYFS - KS2)
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively using the school's established policies
  • Leave concise handover notes for the regular class teacher at the end of the day

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a UK-recognised equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
  • A passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Randstad)
  • Right to work in the UK
