Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and forward‑thinking primary school in Burnley, starting ASAP. This is a full-time, long-term role teaching within the primary phase (year group to be confirmed based on strengths and school needs). The school is known for its inclusive values, supportive leadership team and strong commitment to providing a positive, engaging learning environment for all pupils.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons across the primary curriculum
Assess, track and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations
Create a supportive, stimulating and well‑managed classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support high standards across the school
Promote positive behaviour and uphold the school’s ethos

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching within a primary school setting
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
Two education or school-based references
Ability to inspire, motivate and support pupils of varying abilities
