Supply Primary Teacher - Regular Work (No Planning & Prep)\nLocation: Plymouth and surrounding areas\nHours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday\nContract: Temporary, regular ongoing work\nSalary: £130 - £160 per day\nAre you a passionate and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for regular, reliable work in the Plymouth area without the evening and weekend burnout?\nWe are seeking dedicated Primary Teachers to join our supportive school communities for regular supply placements. This role offers the perfect work-life balance: you get to focus entirely on what you do best-teaching and inspiring children-while leaving the paperwork behind. All lesson planning, schemes of work, and resources are fully provided for you.\nWhat We Offer\nTrue Work-Life Balance: Absolutely no planning, preparation, or marking after hours. Turn up, teach, and leave at 3:30 PM.\nConsistent, Regular Work: Enjoy the stability of a predictable schedule and regular hours (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) across Plymouth and nearby areas.\nCompetitive Pay: A reliable day rate of £130 - £160, depending on your experience.\nA Supportive Network: Work with a collaborative team at Randstad and welcoming local schools with excellent classroom resources already in place.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons using the fully provided planning and resources
  • Maintain a positive, well-organised, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Utilise excellent classroom management skills to keep pupils motivated and on-task
  • Collaborate briefly with permanent school staff to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of learning

Requirements

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • has recent experience teaching within a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)
  • possesses strong behaviour management skills and a highly adaptable, enthusiastic approach
  • is reliable, punctual, and local to or able to travel around Plymouth
