Job Description:

Do you have the vision to lead a classroom where high expectations and a nurturing ethos go hand-in-hand? Are you a reflective practitioner who uses data as a tool for empowerment rather than just a metric? Can you inspire a love of learning in a community where education is the key to a brighter future? Partnering with Randstad Education in Sheffield means accessing the area's best opportunities first. We are committed to nurturing your career by offering unparalleled local support. Benefit from free professional development and exclusive access to high-quality vacancies across North Sheffield. Our dedicated Sheffield team provides expert local knowledge to ensure you find the right fit for your skills. This is an exciting opening for an ambitious teacher to join a forward-thinking school in the Sheffield area. The school is known for its collaborative planning model and its commitment to reducing teacher workload through shared resources. You will join a phase team that values innovation and creative pedagogy, working within a setting that provides excellent facilities and a strong emphasis on staff well-being and professional growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons that challenge all pupils, from those with SEND to those working at greater depth
  • Using diagnostic assessment to identify learning gaps and implementing rapid-response interventions to ensure no child is left behind
  • Leading and managing a team of support staff within the classroom to maximise the impact on pupil learning
  • Building strong, professional relationships with parents and carers to promote home-school synergy
  • Taking an active role in the development of a specific curriculum area across the Key Stage, ensuring progression and engagement
  • Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that celebrates the diversity and achievements of all pupils

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory for this role
  • Evidence of "Good" or "Outstanding" teaching practice in a UK primary setting
  • A deep understanding of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum and statutory assessment requirements
  • Excellent classroom management skills based on positive relationships and high expectations
  • A collaborative mindset and a desire to contribute to the school's continuous improvement journey
  • Must possess an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to undergo a new check
What we offer:
  • Access to exclusive permanent and long-term roles in reputable Sheffield schools
  • Referral scheme: Receive £300 in vouchers for every teacher you recommend to us (T&Cs apply)
  • Specialist CPD training to support your transition into subject or phase leadership
  • A local Sheffield consultant who understands your career goals and matches you with the right school culture
