Job Description

Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for flexibility, an improved work-life balance, or a fresh challenge in West Sussex or Surrey? Randstad is currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Primary School Teachers to support a network of fantastic primary schools across Crawley and the surrounding areas. Whether you want the ultimate flexibility of "teach and leave" at 3:30 PM, or you are looking to secure a long-term position where you can fully embed yourself in a school community, we have a pathway tailored to you.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons (day-to-day/short-term supply)
  • Mark the books and leave at 3:30 PM
  • Or take on a full class role including planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) duties (long-term)

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • An equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs welcome to apply)
  • A genuine passion for primary education
  • The ability to adapt to different school environments
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A warm, positive, and inclusive approach
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable commuting around the Crawley / Gatwick / Mid-Sussex area
  • An enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
