Ready to Change the Way You Teach? Join a Top-Tier ASD Provision in Kent. Do you feel like your current mainstream setting doesn't allow you enough time to truly connect with your students? Are you looking for a role where you can focus on individual progress rather than just hitting generic targets? We are looking for an empathetic, creative educator to join our 'Wallaby Class' this April. Whether you are an experienced SEN specialist or a passionate mainstream teacher looking to transition into a specialist setting, we want to hear from you.
Job Responsibility:
Creative Lesson Planning: Designing 'Wallaby Class' sessions that are sensory-rich and engaging
Communication Mastery: Using tools like PECS and Makaton to give a voice to every child
Holistic Support: Teaching the 'Zones of Regulation' and leading sensory circuits to help pupils navigate their world
Integration is Key: Every child belongs to both your class and a mainstream class. You are the bridge that makes their education work
Requirements:
Teachers with QTS/QTLS who have a heart for SEN but perhaps haven't worked in a specialist provision yet
Highly experienced Unqualified Teachers who have spent years in ASD or communication-based roles and are looking for a more formal teaching responsibility
Collaborators who can work with mainstream colleagues to ensure our pupils thrive in every corner of the school
What we offer:
Professional Pedigree: Boost your CV by working in a nationally recognised, 'Advanced Status' environment
Supportive Trust: Benefit from a wider network of schools and career progression opportunities
Real Impact: Experience the 'unbelievable' progress that parents regularly praise us for
