Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Reception or Year 1 teacher to take on the role of Early English Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong classroom practitioner with expertise in phonics and early literacy to lead our early reading and writing provision across our younger years.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead our early reading and writing provision across our younger years
  • Combine excellent classroom teaching with focused leadership of Read Write Inc., early writing implementation, staff development and pupil progress in the vital earliest stages of literacy

  • A strong classroom practitioner with expertise in phonics and early literacy
  • A strong teacher who leads by example and is keen to support others improve their practice
