The Opportunity: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teacher (QTS) to join there dedicated team. Job Responsibility:

  • Planning, delivering, and assessing a highly differentiated and engaging curriculum tailored to individual student needs and EHCPs
  • Creating a stimulating, safe, and positive learning environment that fosters independence and celebrates progress
  • Utilising a range of specialist teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles and address specific SEN
  • Leading and collaborating with a team of experienced Learning Support Workers/Teaching Assistants, providing guidance and support
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress rigorously, contributing to reviews and annual reports
  • Building strong, positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contributing to the wider school life and ethos

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Proven experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs, ideally within a specialist SEN setting
  • A comprehensive understanding of a range of SEN
  • Exceptional differentiation skills to meet the diverse academic and personal needs of learners
  • Strong classroom management and positive behaviour support strategies
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
  • Resilience, patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for SEN education
