Are you a passionate and qualified SEN Teacher with QTS, eager to make a profound impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs in Surrey? Randstad Education is delighted to be working with a dynamic and inclusive specialist SEN school located in Surrey. This school is renowned for its nurturing environment, therapeutic approach, strong community focus and is committed to fostering the individual growth and development of every student.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning, delivering, and assessing a highly differentiated and engaging curriculum tailored to individual student needs and EHCPs
  • Creating a stimulating, safe, and positive learning environment that fosters independence and celebrates progress
  • Utilising a range of specialist teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles and address specific SEN
  • Leading and collaborating with a team of experienced Learning Support Workers/Teaching Assistants, providing guidance and support
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress rigorously, contributing to reviews and annual reports
  • Building strong, positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contributing to the wider school life and ethos

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Proven experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs, ideally within a specialist SEN setting
  • A comprehensive understanding of a range of SEN
  • Exceptional differentiation skills to meet the diverse academic and personal needs of learners
  • Strong classroom management and positive behaviour support strategies
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
  • Resilience, patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for SEN education
