Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Primary Teacher to join an Alternative Provision setting based in Bognor Regis. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including SEMH, within a nurturing, structured, and inclusive environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the primary curriculum
  • Adapt learning to meet a range of additional needs and abilities
  • Support pupil progress, attainment, and engagement
  • Implement effective behaviour management and inclusion strategies
  • Work collaboratively with staff, senior leaders, parents, and external agencies
  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within primary education
  • Experience working with SEMH or in alternative provision settings (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of inclusion and differentiated teaching strategies
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A calm, resilient, and flexible approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
