Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Supply Teacher to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work flexibly across various year groups and classes within our primary school. As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education in the absence of regular classroom teachers, delivering engaging lessons, and ensuring the well-being and academic progress of our students.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences across a range of subjects and year groups, following the school's curriculum and lesson plans
Establishing a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported
Managing classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive relationships, and fostering a love for learning
Assessing student progress, providing feedback, and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs
Collaborating with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and student support
Maintaining accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and academic progress

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or relevant field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
Previous experience teaching primary-aged children, either in a permanent or supply capacity
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and build positive relationships
Effective classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different teaching environments
Flexibility and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and varied role
