Job Responsibility

  • Delivering lessons planned by the class teacher
  • Managing the classroom effectively
  • Ensuring continuity of learning for all pupils in their absence
  • Maintaining positive behaviour and a safe learning environment
  • Ensuring all school policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Providing a brief handover to the class teacher upon completion of the cover assignment

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school setting
