Job Responsibility

  • Lead pre-planned lessons with energy and clarity
  • Adapt teaching methods to cater to the varying needs and abilities of students
  • Work effectively with Teaching Assistants to maximize classroom support
  • Think on your feet and remain proactive if work hasn't been set or needs adjusting
  • Provide clear and concise marking to ensure students understand their progress
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a safe, positive learning atmosphere

Requirements

  • A relevant degree and teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable (NQTs/ECTs are warmly welcomed)
  • Essential experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
  • An in-date Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service) with no reprimands
  • A strong commitment to pupil progress and a positive, 'can-do' attitude
