Job Description:

Randstad Education is effectively looking for talented and enthusiastic Primary supply teachers to join their teams in and around the Basildon area. As a primary Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum. Client schools believe that children should have a broad and balanced curriculum to develop artistic, musical or sporting talents alongside core subjects like reading, writing, maths, and science.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences across a range of subjects and year groups, following the schools' curriculum and lesson plans
Establishing a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported
Managing classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive relationships, and fostering a love for learning
Collaborating with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and student support
Maintaining accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and academic progress

Requirements:

A QTS (Qualified teaching status) is essential
Relevant qualifications (PGCE or similar)
Knowledge of primary curriculum including Key Stage 1 (KS1) & Key Stage 2 (KS2)
Previous teaching experience in the UK is required
Immediate starts available
