Job Description

As a Primary Supply Teacher, your primary focus will be the delivery of engaging lessons and the effective management of the classroom environment. This role is designed for those who appreciate the flexibility of supply work while ensuring continuity of learning for pupils. You will be responsible for implementing existing lesson plans, fostering a positive academic atmosphere, and maintaining classroom standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in accordance with pre-set lesson plans
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a productive and focused learning environment
  • Adapt quickly to diverse school settings and follow specific institutional policies
  • Support pupil development and engagement during daily assignments

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven ability to adapt to new classroom environments with professionalism
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to academic excellence
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to teaching
  • Must possess or be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
