Your Role as a Primary SEND Lead As a Primary SEND Teacher, you are responsible for creating a nurturing, structured, and safe world where foundational learning can take place. Bespoke Lesson Delivery: Adapt the Primary curriculum into sensory stories, practical 'Life Skills' sessions, and play-based learning that aligns with each student's EHCP targets. Communication Leadership: Utilise total communication environments-incorporating Makaton, PECS, and Colourful Semantics-to ensure every child can express themselves. Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Liaise with Speech and Language Therapists (SLT), Occupational Therapists (OT), and Physios to integrate therapeutic goals into the daily school routine. Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of LSAs/TAs, ensuring a consistent and 'low-arousal' approach to classroom and behaviour management.

Requirements:
Hold QTS
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience within a Primary setting (EYFS/KS1/KS2)
