We are seeking Qualified Primary Teachers (QTS) who are passionate about special education. Job Responsibility
Bespoke Lesson Delivery: Adapt the Primary curriculum into sensory stories, practical Life Skills sessions, and play-based learning that aligns with each student's EHCP targets
Communication Leadership: Utilise total communication environments-incorporating Makaton, PECS, and Colourful Semantics-to ensure every child can express themselves
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Liaise with Speech and Language Therapists (SLT), Occupational Therapists (OT), and Physios to integrate therapeutic goals into the daily school routine
Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of LSAs/TAs, ensuring a consistent and low-arousal approach to classroom and behaviour management
Requirements
Hold QTS
You have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience within a Primary setting (EYFS/KS1/KS2)
Are a SEND Advocate
You have a genuine interest in or experience with Autism (ASC), PMLD, SLD, or SEMH, and a belief in the unlimited potential of every child
Are Highly Adaptable
You can pivot your lesson plan in seconds to meet the emotional or sensory needs of your students
Are Committed
You hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply) and are 100% dedicated to Safeguarding
