Job Description:

We’re looking for a caring and reliable SEND Support Assistant to join a friendly primary special needs school in Crawley. You’ll support children with a range of additional needs in a small, supportive classroom setting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support pupils with a variety of SEND, including verbal and non-verbal needs
  • Assist with personalised learning activities
  • Help manage behaviour in a calm and positive way
  • Encourage emotional and social development
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff

Requirements:

  • Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
  • Comfortable supporting children with complex needs
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Must be cleared through Pink Tile Education
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and references are required
