Job Description:

An exciting and crucial opportunity for a highly motivated and committed Primary SENCO has arisen in Oasis Academy Broadoak to take a leading part in the development of SEN provision across the wider team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Hold key responsibility for all aspects of leading and managing SEN and wider inclusive provision across the school
  • Data analysis
  • Supporting planning and implementation of interventions and strategies for SEN pupils alongside the Senior Leadership Team
  • Monitoring day-to-day operations with regards to the SEN policy and provision
  • Contribute to evaluation and review processes
  • Providing further guidance to teaching staff with delivering provision to SEN students
  • Modelling successful inclusive strategies to promote high levels of achievement

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent alongside an Honours degree
  • SENCO qualification
  • Essential experience within team leadership and implementation of SEN policies
  • A sound knowledge of Child Safeguarding and the SEN code of practice
  • Ability to plan and evaluate interventions, using data analysis skills to review EHCP pupils and inform plans for provision
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
