Are you a patient, nurturing professional looking to specialise in neurodiversity and child development? Join our local primary network as an SEN Teaching Assistant and help every child find their 'voice' in the classroom.

Job Responsibility:

Tailored 1:1 support using Now & Next boards and sensory breaks
Developmental coaching to facilitate social interaction and communication skills during play-based activities and phonics sessions
Collaborative reporting with SENCO, class teachers, and external therapists
Holistic wellbeing by providing a safe, dignified environment and assisting with personal care or mobility needs where required

Requirements:

Naturally patient
Person-first approach
Relevant experience from a nursery, healthcare setting, or personal lived experience with SEND
Committed with an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply) and dedicated to Safeguarding
