Job Description:

Randstad Education is searching for a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher with Special Educational Needs (SEN) expertise for a long-term role in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant, positive impact on students' lives within a highly supportive school environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons specifically adapted for students with diverse SEN
  • Adapting curriculum content using frameworks such as P Scales to ensure accessibility and relevance
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports student well-being and development
  • Collaborating effectively with professional staff and the wider team to deliver comprehensive student support
  • Developing multi sensory learning resources and monitoring pupil development
  • Providing personal care support when necessary

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory
  • Proven experience working with SEN students in a UK school setting
  • Proficiency in curriculum adaptation (e.g., P Scales), inclusive teaching methodologies, and effective classroom management
  • Strong patience, empathy, communication, and teamwork abilities
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to undergo a new check
  • Eligibility to Work in UK
  • Available to work from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
