Primary Semh Teacher

Pink Tile Education are working in partnership with a specialist Provision in the Burgess Hill area, who are seeking a nurturing, adaptable, and resilient Primary Teacher to join their team from September on a part-time basis (Monday to Wednesday). This provision supports pupils aged 5–16 who are unable to access mainstream education due to medical needs, behavioural challenges, social, emotional and mental health needs, or other barriers to learning. The setting provides a highly supportive and relationship-focused environment where pupils are encouraged to rebuild confidence, emotional regulation, and engagement with learning. The successful candidate will be teaching primary-aged pupils, delivering creative and engaging lessons tailored to meet a range of abilities and additional needs. Many students may have experienced disruption within education and require consistency, patience, and a nurturing approach to help them feel safe and successful within school. The school are looking for someone who understands the importance of building positive relationships, creating a calm learning environment, and supporting both the academic and emotional development of young people.
