Randstad Education is actively seeking to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants to join a fantastic Primary School team in Hatfield, those interested in working with KS1 and KS2 children, to start soon. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing and securing the successful day to day running of the curriculum to their learners. Job Responsibility:

  • Consist of guided reading sessions with small groups of children in class following the national curriculum
  • Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
  • Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
  • Develop a behaviour or learning reward scheme that incorporates the child's likes and interests
  • Providing support to the children both academically and socially
  • Be motivated, positive and dynamic
  • Be willing to be fully involved in the life of the school community
  • Have excellent organisational and communication skills

Requirements:

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Eligibility to work in UK (Sponsorship is not available for this role)
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working with children
  • Effective communication skills and discipline
  • Relevant experience with children in the UK with 2 professional references
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (this is Essential)
  • Proof of current Address (3 months recent)
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
