Job Description:

We are currently looking for two experienced Teaching Assistants to join a Year 1 class on a long-term, full-time basis to start ASAP! Your responsibilities will include supporting the teacher, assisting with whole-class, small group, and 1:1 sessions, focusing on specific progress and support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing classroom behavior and supporting the teacher
  • Using creativity and innovation to enhance learning
  • Working with small groups and providing 1:1 support
  • Adapting resources to meet students' needs in real-time

Requirements:

  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
  • Ability to make a positive impression on both the school and us
  • Previous experience working with children is required
  • A flexible, professional, and friendly approach to meeting pupil needs
  • Good classroom management skills

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience with SATs intervention
  • Strong curriculum knowledge
