Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs
  • Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
  • Contributing to whole-school initiatives and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Passionate about inclusive education and child development
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

Nice to have:

  • SEN awareness or experience supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Experience with phonics, early literacy, or numeracy interventions
  • Familiarity with assessment frameworks and pupil progress tracking
  • A creative, enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
  • Enhanced DBS (Affinity Workforce can assist with this)
