Job Description:

Primary School Teacher (ECT) – Full-time, long-term supply from September 2026. These long-term supply opportunities are ideal for Early Career Teachers who are looking to gain valuable experience and develop their practice across different primary school settings. You will be working in schools across various settings, delivering consistent, high-quality teaching while building confidence and professional skills in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the primary curriculum
Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities appropriate to pupils’ needs
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain high expectations
Assess and record pupil progress in line with school requirements
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and mentors
Contribute to wider school life during the long-term placement

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending qualification for September 2026
Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking long-term supply experience
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
Enthusiastic, reflective, and keen to develop professionally
Adaptable across different year groups and school environments
Strong communication and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
