Job Description

Step Teachers are recruiting Primary Supply Teachers in Potters Bar and surrounding areas for our pool of supply staff to start as soon as possible. If you’re a qualified teacher looking for flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a difference across multiple school settings, this is a great opportunity to join our supply team. We’re recruiting Primary Supply Teachers for daily cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in Potters Bar and surrounding areas.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in line with the national curriculum
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school routines
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Manage behaviour effectively and follow safeguarding procedures
  • Mark work and leave feedback for the class teacher where required
  • Work collaboratively with support staff to meet pupil needs

Requirements

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has recent experience teaching in UK primary schools
  • Is confident working across different age groups and settings
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Is flexible, reliable and enthusiastic about supply teaching
  • Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one
