Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure continuity in education in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Follow provided lesson plans and resources
  • Collaborate and share insights with staff
  • Build relationships with staff, students, and families
  • Mark lessons taught and provide feedback to the class teacher
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Key Stage 1 (KS1) experience
  • Key Stage 2 (KS2) experience
  • Good classroom management
  • Communication skills
