We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Homeroom Teacher to join our team for a maternity leave cover from mid-April to the end of June 2026. Job Responsibility:
Teach and lead a primary class following IB PYP and curriculum standards
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across core subjects
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports holistic student development
Use inquiry-based learning to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
Regularly assess and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse needs
Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and contribute to school initiatives
Encourage student participation in extra-curricular activities and ensure their social and personal growth
Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide effective feedback to students and parents
Requirements:
A degree in Education or a related field with a recognised teaching qualification
Teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB school
Knowledge and experience with inquiry-based and student-centred teaching methods
Proven ability to create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, multicultural environment
A commitment to contributing to the wider school community
