Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Lead Teacher to join our Bristol Campus, situated in the village of Wanswell, Gloucestershire, on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be required to travel to Swansea on a weekly basis for one day pending the anticipated campus merger with Bristol and Swansea Campuses into the new flagship campus site located in Cwmbran.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible and accountable for student attainment and achievement in Primary on Campus
  • Implements the Learning to Learn Framework
  • Ensures all teaching and learning is delivered through high-standard “Assignments”
  • Oversees day-to-day leadership, planning, and standards of teaching, learning, assessment, and feedback for Primary
  • Maintains excellent teaching practice
  • Works closely with Secondary teaching team for transition and campus support

Requirements

  • Responsible and accountable for student attainment and achievement in Primary on Campus
  • Implements the Learning to Learn Framework as the founding principle of curriculum design
  • Ensures all teaching and learning is delivered through “Assignments” that are of the highest possible standard
  • Utilises approved curriculum resources and innovative digital platforms
  • Oversees the day-to-day leadership, coordinated planning and standards of teaching, learning, assessment and feedback on Campus for Primary
  • Maintains excellent teaching practice
  • Works closely with the Secondary teaching team to maintain transition and support the Campus as an ‘all through’ school
