The Wingate School (TWS) is an Inspired Education Group school located in Mexico City and an accredited Cambridge International School and an IB World School in Mexico City that offers an educational programme focused on academic excellence, creativity and human formation. Job Responsibility:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the British curriculum and The Wingate School’s educational philosophy
Foster a positive, inclusive, and caring classroom environment that supports students’ social and emotional development
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students
Assess, record, and report on student progress and development in a clear and timely manner
Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership regarding student progress and well-being
Contribute to school life beyond the classroom through participation in events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency and alignment across year levels
Model and promote the school’s values of respect, integrity, and global citizenship
Requirements:
First-language English speaker
Primary experience and PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
Full-time school teaching experience, ideally in an international setting
A cheerful, professional, hard-working, and well-presented person capable of inspiring confidence in pupils and parents
Awareness of the demands of teaching an international student body and a commitment to fostering high academic achievement
Excellent communication and ICT skills
Calm, efficient, and able to work effectively under pressure
Enthusiastic about the prospect of living and working in Latin America
Nice to have:
Preferably with knowledge of the British and/or IPC curriculum
A child-centered approach to teaching and learning
