Job Description:

Primary Banker role within Wealth and Personal Banking at HSBC, based in Ipoh, Malaysia. Responsibilities include customer engagement, promoting digital tools, driving referrals, ensuring compliance, and updating customer information. Minimum SPM qualification with strong customer handling skills required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibility:

Act as a Branch Ambassador to deliver exceptional customer experience through identifying and fulfilling customer needs at first point of contact
Promote digital channel and Life Sign Technology to New to Bank (NTB) or Existing to Bank (ETB) customers
Generate revenue growth by meeting customer needs for cards, personal loan, balance build and other retail products
Drive referrals for both Advance and Premier customer segments
Utilise customer base to look for opportunities and drive sales
Update customer’s information accurately in the Bank’s system
Ensure Compliance, Audit, SOX and other regulatory requirements are met

Requirements:

Minimum SPM qualification with 5 credits
Candidate with at least one (1) year working experience in retail, banking or financial industry would be preferred
Fluent in spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
Mandarin / Cantonese is an added advantage
Strong customer handling and problem solving skills
Ability to navigate and use tablet and other digital tools
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
