Primary 1:1 Teaching Assistant

• Delivering individualised learning support tailored to the student's needs
• Assisting with lesson preparation and delivery
• Monitoring student progress and reporting to the classroom teacher and parents
• Building a positive and supportive relationship with the student
• Collaborating effectively with the classroom teacher and other support staff
• Adapting teaching materials to suit the student's learning style
• Providing pastoral care and support to the student

• Proven experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
• Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and understanding of diverse learning needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for supporting student's learning and well-being
• Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or a related field are beneficial
• Commitment to safeguarding children
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
