Primary 1:1 Teaching Assistant

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a primary school student, assisting with their learning activities and promoting independence
• Help with the preparation and delivery of lessons, adapting materials as needed for the student
• Deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions and consistently monitor the student's academic and personal progress
• Maintain regular and effective communication with the classroom teacher, parents/guardians, and other relevant professionals regarding the student's development
• Offer pastoral support, encouraging positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional well-being
• Accompany the student on school trips, extracurricular activities, and other educational outings as required

• Proven prior experience working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or behavioural challenges is highly advantageous
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• A high degree of patience, understanding, and empathy
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
• A genuine passion for supporting student's learning, development, and overall well-being
• Relevant qualifications or significant experience in education, childcare, or a related field are beneficial
