An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Analyst to join the Pricing Operations Team. You will be a key member of the team and bring your developing analytical skills to a variety of projects covering all aspects of pricing, data management, and strategy. You will be responsible for consulting with all departments to help define reporting, develop analytic solutions, and deliver the analysis and recommendations on commercial decisions. The Junior Analyst will develop to provide input into analytic tools, providing on-demand analysis, as well as supporting strategic pricing projects. There will be considerable on the job training and opportunities to significantly expand your role. This position would suit a candidate who has had experience in a similar role or a recent graduate who meets the requirements set out below. Remuneration is competitive.
Job Responsibility:
Serves as a resource for interpreting data and information
communicates results to team members
Supports team members to facilitate the delivery of Pricing Operations Team objectives
Works across multiple departments and teams globally to coordinate support of our transportation management system (TMS) and maintain customer pricing
Utilizes analytical tools across to provide reporting and analysis for upper management
Assesses analytics and reporting needs of the network
Supports the delivery of Pricing Operations Team objectives and serves as a point of contact for day to day TMS support requests
Help users across the organization to resolve tickets related to workflow (Global Quoting Engine, Discount Implementation)
Supports development of prototypes and modes which further Pricing Operations Team behavior
Maintains and develops strong working relationships with business owners as a process advocate
Supports creation of speech and presentation materials for members of the management team
Keeps abreast of healthcare trends and competitor activity
Requirements:
Training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, or computer science generally obtained through completion of a three/four year Bachelor’s Degree program
Experience developing strong analytics and reporting knowledge strongly desired
Sound expertise in financial / mathematical / statistical modeling and analysis
Proven ability to work analytically
synthesizing vast data into relevant, actionable information
Ability to implement and manage projects / processes aimed at driving simplification, standardization, or adherence to policy
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
