At BCLP, we’ve built our firm on the foundations of thinking differently. Curious, inquisitive and unbound by tradition, we’re building change within our sector and beyond. It starts with our people, which is why we need a Pricing Manager to join our team - someone who brings analytical strength, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for driving value. In this role, you’ll work closely with partners, business development, and finance teams to shape pricing strategies that support client relationships and enhance profitability. You’ll be involved in high-impact work, from advising on client fee arrangements to contributing to firm-wide initiatives that improve how we deliver legal services. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to deepen their expertise in pricing within a leading law firm environment. You’ll gain exposure to complex client matters, develop your commercial and financial acumen, and be part of a supportive team that values innovation, insight, and continuous growth.

  • Collaborate with Partners, Business Development and Finance to prepare competitive responses to client RFPs
  • Support and participate in fee discussions and negotiations with key clients
  • Deliver pricing insights to support the design of efficient service delivery models, particularly for routine legal work
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability through smarter resourcing and workflow optimisation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including in-house counsel and procurement teams
  • Lead pricing negotiations, respond to client pricing queries, and ensure agreed terms are implemented effectively across internal systems
  • Oversee the preparation and interpretation of pricing and profitability analysis
  • Identify trends and issues using the firm’s profitability dashboard to inform strategic decisions and improve financial outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of financial training across the firm to enhance understanding of pricing and profitability principles
  • Promote a culture of financial awareness within both legal and business services teams
  • Support the Senior Pricing Manager in developing pricing tools, templates, and best practices
  • Share analytical techniques and insights with colleagues across the Finance and Accounting functions to support their professional growth

Requirements

  • Proven experience in pricing or financial analysis within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • advanced Excel proficiency required
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Client-focused with a strong understanding of legal service delivery
  • Experience with legal pricing tools and profitability dashboards is advantageous
