With rapid growth in online retail, our fleet and network have scaled significantly, creating an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute analyst to support pricing strategy and drive profitability. Reporting to the Group Estimation Manager, the Pricing & Estimation Analyst role plays a key part in shaping pricing outcomes across pricing, tenders, contract renewals, and strategic initiatives across ANC. You will help drive and build robust pricing models, supporting RFQ/RFP submissions, and delivering insights that enhance margin performance and commercial decision-making in a fast paced environment

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide pricing and estimation support for RFQs, RFPs, and contract renewals across accounts
  • Develop and maintain detailed pricing models incorporating labour, fleet, route density, and operational cost drivers
  • Build forecasting models to assess volume, revenue, and margin scenarios across new and existing business
  • Analyse cost-to-serve and identify margin improvement opportunities across the network
  • Support the development of pricing strategies aligned to market conditions and customer requirements
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Commercial, and Strategy teams to ensure pricing assumptions reflect operational realities
  • Evaluate network optimisation opportunities including route consolidation, zoning, and fleet utilisation
  • Maintain and enhance master data integrity to support accurate pricing and reporting outputs
  • Provide commercial insights and reporting to support decision-making at senior stakeholder level
  • Administrative tasks centred around managing version control of key pricing documentation and approval process

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in pricing, commercial analysis, or financial modelling (transport/logistics highly regarded)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting RFQ/RFP pricing submissions and contract negotiations
  • Strong understanding of cost drivers within transport, logistics, or last mile delivery environments
  • Advanced Excel skills (financial modelling, scenario analysis, PowerPivot) and experience with Power BI
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear commercial insights and recommendations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across multiple business units
  • High attention to detail with a structured and logical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline (preferred)
