Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Pricing Coordinator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Dallas, TX. This role involves managing daily pricing requests, ensuring compliance with operational policies, and maintaining accurate records of pricing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to support continuous improvement initiatives and foster positive relationships with stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle daily pricing requests for new and existing customers, adhering to assigned deadlines and service agreements
  • Verify compliance with operational policies, including restricted commodities and embargoed countries
  • Document and maintain detailed notes on each pricing activity to facilitate clear communication with operations staff
  • Track and report monthly progress toward key performance indicators (KPIs) and assigned goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure access to the latest pricing information for seamless customer service
  • Collaborate with peers and management to identify and implement best practices for improving pricing quality and success rates
  • Provide door-to-door pricing solutions promptly by leveraging updated accessorial charges
  • Monitor industry trends and develop strategies to enhance win ratios and pricing effectiveness
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes and achieve better outcomes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service and pricing coordination within logistics or a related field
  • Must have international shipping experience, operations (global forwarding, freight specialists, etc)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for managing data and communication
  • Strong understanding of operational policies and compliance requirements
  • Ability to analyze and validate information for accurate pricing and decision-making
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with stakeholders and collaborating effectively
  • Familiarity with KPI reporting and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to team success
